Sylvia Telles (born August 27, 1934 died December 17 1966) was a Brazilian jazz samba and bossa nova singer of the 1950s and 1960s who worked with Luiz Bonfá. She also did several tribute albums to Antonio Carlos Jobim. She died in a car wreck on December 19, 1966. Sylvia is the mother of singer Claudia Telles born August 26 1957.
