Durval Ferreira was a composer, guitarist, guitarist, arranger and producer in Brazil.
Durval composed of bossa nova classics like "Estamos Aí e Tristeza de Nós Dois".
As a musician, in 1962 accompanied the American saxophonist Cannonball Adderley with Sergio Mendes and played in Carnegie Hall concert.
Over the past thirty years, Durval Ferreira dedicated to the production of commercial discs. As a producer, launched the singers
Emilio Santiago, Joanna and Sandra de Sá. Despite the lengthy career, in 2004 alone he recorded his only solo album, "Batida Diferente".
His songs were recorded by Wes Montgomery, Sarah Vaughan, Herbie Mann, Claudette Soares and Leny Andrade, among others.
